Events Industry Upskill Initiative: Evolving & Becoming A Leader

In this week’s episode of #EventIcons, we bring to you the incredible Events Industry Upskill Initiative. So, we’ve talked about sustainability in the industry several times here. And one of the best and brightest people we had the pleasure to welcome was Fiona Pelham. Fiona is the CEO of Positive Impact Events, a member of the International Board of Meeting Professionals International, and an overall inspirational person. As a fierce advocate for sustainability and equality within the industry, Fiona puts a lot of energy into raising awareness for these topics.

And one of the ways she’s doing it is through the Events Industry Upskill Initiative. This initiative will help one hundred thousand event professionals “build the future of how human connection happens”. Through half an hour pieces of education every three days over the course of 90 days, these event profs will be upskilling themselves for a future of using events to forward the sustainable development goals. So if you’re interested in knowing more, join our host Alex Plaxen and our amazing guest!
