This week’s episode of #EventIcons will tackle the amazing world of design thinking for events. Your favorite podcast will have a few episodes dedicated to design, and how it impacts the world of events coming up. As such, today we’re talking all about design thinking, and how this solution-based approach can be an asset for event planners. When it comes to planning, the eyes should always be on the prize – and in this case, the prize is your attendee experience.

So, what is design thinking and how does it impact this experience? How can you use it, and in a proper way that delivers the best possible results? In order to help answer these questions, joining our hosts Brandt Krueger and Lindsay Martin-Bilbrey is Lisa Perrine. Lisa is an experienced designer, communication strategist, and CEO of Cibola Systems. She and her colleagues focus on the human elements of AV communication: the interplay between workplace culture and communication, how people experience media, and how individuals interact with technology. Additionally, Lisa approaches her work with a mixture of curiosity, creativity, and the expertise gained from completing over 1000 consulting engagements.

It’s time to take a trip down the brave new world of design thinking! So, put your seatbelt on and press play because we’re about to turn your world (and thoughts) upside-down!
