It takes a fresh perspective to keep your audience active and engaged throughout these long conferences, meetings, and events. Studies have shown that attendees can get an immediate boost to their attention span and retentiveness by taking part in a short aerobic exercise. Short aerobic exercises can be turned into team building and learning experiences to add to your event. It breaks up the monotony and keeps your audience’s attention. It can also be used to give attendees an outdoor break. Some time outside in the fresh air can do wonders to reenergize and lift spirits. It increases blood flow and cognition, improving attendees’ ability to retain everything they learn at your event.

5 Fears That Keep You From Accomplishing Amazingly Awesome Stuff

fearThis article talks about five fears that can keep you from making your events unforgettable. The first fear the article talks about is fear of rejection. Not taking risks due to fear of rejection stifles creativity and will make your events mundane and boring. Embracing risk-taking will allow you to stand out! The second fear is fear of criticism. Criticism will inevitably come, so make sure that you’re open to it and don’t let it negatively affect you.  Next is the fear of faulty launch conditions. This means you need to stop waiting for the “perfect” time to do something. It will never be perfect, so act now! Fourth is the fear of lack of knowledge. Don’t be afraid of something because you are not an expert. You probably have enough information to move forward and learn more. Do it! Last is the fear of catastrophic failure. Everything has the chance of failing. Tackle your problems head on. If everything goes terribly, do your best to remedy the situation and then move on and learn from it.
