In more than two years of weekly writing on our event blog, we’ve had a handful of posts stand out above the rest… For the last 120 weeks, we’ve published a weekly post on this event blog. Just as our sign-up form says, we want to give you the trips, secret tips and trends that help make your events rise above the rest. So we’ve compiled our most popular, shared and controversial posts of all time. We did this for three reasons:
- To give new readers an easy “digest” of posts to start with.
- To give long-time readers an appendix of important posts to revisit when they become more relevant to them.
- To try and get a better sense of what works and what doesn’t.
What we’ve found is that generally, the posts on this list have one of these two characteristics:
- They challenge the status quo of the events industry
- They solve a problem that event and meeting planners have to deal with every day
It was fun looking back and putting this list together of our top event blogs, and we hope it’s as helpful for you as it was for us. Read More

What do you think about when someone mentions a corporate event? I bet the image you picture is pretty similar to this: A standard 4 walled room, round tables with some kind of standard arrangement, and a stage with a screen projecting a powerpoint. Basically, the event meets all the functional aspects but simply lacks a bit of flair. Corporate events tend to shy away from bold themes to keep a neutral and professional environment. Your company events should be the exact opposite because this is the perfect opportunity to not only showcase your brand visually but your company culture. We recently teamed up with GoVig, a headhunter agency, to produce their event of the year. From Skull Head Vodka awards to live remote cameras, this was not your typical corporate event. Read More
“An event for fans, created by fans,” describes the environment perfectly when walking into the Northwest’s premier comic book and pop culture convention, Emerald City Comicon. Endless Entertainment lives to be a part of iconic events just like this one. Serving 80,000 people in 2015, ECCC comes back each year, bigger and better. Whenever we work with our clients, our goal is to not only meet their desired attendee experience, but to have their fans walking away saying, “What will they do next year?”. That’s not an easy task, but we try to do things a little differently around here to ensure a unique experience for every event.
Rewind 10 years and the word culture wouldn’t be found anywhere among job hunters and organizations. We’ve entered a new era where businesses are dramatically changing how they work. Leading organizations are throwing around words like culture, holacracy, workplace freedom, and concepts that would have been unthinkable not too long ago. The one constant in all of this, however, are the two players in the game, employers and employees. These two groups are continually stressing their value to the potential talent lurking outside their doors. Culture is inching it’s way up to the top of everyone’s list, becoming an actual criteria that companies and candidates must possess to recruit some of the best talent in the market. Understanding and building your own culture will be a necessity to play amongst the big dogs, but before you dive deep into culture with your own company, pause and take a moment to grasp what this culture movement is really about.
Emerald City Comicon 2015 will be celebrating their 13th year as a comic book convention and has no plans of stopping there. They have teamed up with us to provide the audiovisual for the convention. It’s only a few short weeks away and will be here before you know it!
